We put the utmost love and care into each workout we create here on The Aerobics Channel, and we hope you have as much fun doing our workouts as we have creating them.  However, we understand that sometimes, our workouts aren’t right for everyone. 

If you no longer wish to be a member of our video store, or would like a refund, please read our Refund Policy below.  If you’ve still got questions, please email us on info@theaerobicschannel.com.  We’ll do our best to assist you with your query!

Free trial period

Our premium on demand home video store comes with a free 3-day trial.  This gives you unlimited access to our premium members area free of charge for a full 3 days to test it out and see whether it’s right for you.

If at any time during that 3 day trial you decide we’re not the right fit, no hard feelings.  You can cancel at any time during this period with no cost to you.

Should you not cancel within that 3 days, you will be charged for the first month or year of membership (depending on the option you select at the checkout).

Cancelling your subscription

If you want to cancel your subscription to the video store, we’ll sure be sorry to see you go, but we understand circumstances change.  We hope to see you again whenever you’re ready!

You can cancel your subscription at any time simply by going to your account on the top right of the screen.

You will still have access to the subscribers area until the billing period expires (monthly or yearly, depending on your selection at the checkout). Once that billing period has lapsed, it will not renew, and you will no longer have access to the subscribers area.

Refunds

The Aerobics Channel is an Australian run business and as such we are bound by Australian Consumer Law, which requires us to provide refunds to our consumers in particular circumstances.

A refund is different from cancelling your subscription.  Cancelling your subscription will simply mean that you will pay no further monies to us, but The Aerobics Channel retains all monies paid to us prior.

A refund means that The Aerobics Channel will reimburse you the cost of your subscription paid to date, or for a particular period during your paid subscription.

Under Australian Consumer Law, we are required to provide a refund to you if there is a major problem with our service.

The ACCC (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission) defines a major problem as:-

  • our service has a problem that would have stopped you from subscribing to it had you known about it beforehand

  • our service has multiple minor problems that, when assessed as a whole, would have stopped you from subscribing to it had you known about it beforehand

  • our service is substantially unfit for purpose and we can’t fix it within a reasonable time

  • our service has not been provided with an acceptable level of care and skill

  • you have paid for our service but we have not delivered it within a reasonable time when there was no agreed upon delivery date

When we do not provide refunds

You must pay for services that have been provided as promised to you at purchase.

You cannot request a refund if the problem is something outside our control or if you:

  • changed your mind about subscribing to the service;

  • performed the activities demonstrated in our videos in a particular way that went against the advice and safety instructions provided;

  • have a pre-existing condition or injury that contraindicates the activities as outlined in the Terms of Service provided to you prior to purchase; and/or

  • failed to clearly communicate your needs to us prior to subscribing.

How to obtain a refund

If you are unhappy with our service, we want to hear from you!  Please follow the following steps:-

1.       We’re always improving and growing, and we want you to feel supported, safe, and well looked after: Please contact us in writing by email HERE and let us know the problem you’re having.  We’re grateful for your feedback, because it gives us an opportunity to provide a better service to you and to our other guests.  We’ll do our best to fix your difficulty as quickly as possible and keep you informed of how we’re improving our service going forward.

2.       If we cannot fix your problem within a reasonable period of time and the problem is major or is a series of smaller problems that would have prevented you buying had you known about them beforehand, you can either choose to:-

(a)    cancel your subscription (see definition of “cancelling your subscription” above); and/or

(b)    cancel your subscription and request a refund (see definition of “refund” above).

3.       Show us proof of purchase: This can be either the invoice that was mailed to you when you joined or a bank statement.

4.       We’ll take steps to refund the monies to your account.
